Expectation Points Points Big question The title of the experiment should be written on the 2 top line of the page. The big question should be written neatly and correctly. Hypothesis The hypothesis should begin with “I think…” and 3 should explain in detail how the student believes the experiment will unfold. Procedures The procedures are neatly/correctly written OR 2 (more often) cut and pasted onto the page. Data Collection Data was organized into a chart OR an observation 4 sketch was clearly labeled showing what occurred during the experiment. Results The scientist explains what the data showed in a 4 graph and/or in writing. Conclusion The scientist thinks about what was learned and 5 explains, in complete sentences, the answer to the big question. Scientist also suggests ideas for further experimentation.
