Question 1 (15)
Students to formulate the following:
• problem statement with relevant literature
• three (3) objectives
• three (3) research questions
9 marks for the problem statement and 3 marks each for the objectives
and questions.
Question 2 The literature review (4-5 pages) must correspond with the problem (30)
statement and objectives described in Question 1. References to be a
minimum of at least five (5) sources.
Question 3 (25)
Based on the response to Question 1, student should explain in full, the
methodological steps that they would implement to investigate the
situation. The methodological steps entail the whole research design and
remember to align the correct methodology with the situation to be
investigated. 5 marks for each step/procedure described.

Question 4 (15)
This question requires students to describe the important precepts to be
considered during data collection from participants.
3 marks for each identified principle.
Question 5 (15)
Students to suggest recommendations (at least five) to restore the
preferred situation. The recommendations must be practical and be
derived from the situation described.
3 marks for each recommendation noted.
