Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in a simple family; my father is a government employee,

and my mother is a homemaker. I have one sibling who is still
studying in school. My siblings and I were frequently taken to
educational places and especially old heritages. That is why I
became curious about understanding the old heritages and history
of the world. I also used to spend time in the library reading the
structure and the work of renowned people in the world of history.
Have you ever traveled to a foreign country before?
Not yet. I was born and raised in TAMILNADU. I have traveled across the
country and visited different cities with my family and my KABAADI team
for different school tournaments.

Have you gone abroad before?

No, I have not gone abroad before. This is my first time going abroad. I
was born and raised in Mannargudi Tamil Nadu. And I have only travelled
within India. I am excited to travel across the world.

Why have you chosen to study abroad rather than in your home
country?
I chose to study abroad largely because I’m interested in discovering and
engaging with different cultures.

A big part of my decision to study abroad comes from the fact that I enjoy learning about and
experiencing new cultures. My second reason is the same reason that most people probably
have for pursuing any degree, and that is to improve my career prospects. The reality is that,
unfortunately, at this time, no university in my country would give me the same level of
education as X university when it comes to my chosen field of study. Furthermore, research
has shown that studying abroad helps you to appreciate other cultures and gain a greater
understanding of the world. These qualities are becoming increasingly valuable in the
modern business world, and I want to give myself the best chance at success after graduation.

2. What book are you currently reading?
To be honest, I am not reading any books currently. I have been focused on
preparing my college applications and getting ready to move abroad.

What are you most excited about in your country?

The most exciting thing about my country is its enriching culture and
food. India is a diverse nation with many different people, and every state
has a different language, cuisine, and much more.

What areas do you seek improvement?

I need to improve my time management because, as a school student, I

had a lot of responsibilities, and I always tried to fit into the roles, like
learning something new skills, studying, and participating in new
extracurricular activities.
