1.) A Qualitative Investigation of Time Management Interventions for Working

Students in the Philippines to Balance Academics and Work

Abstract (Paraphrased version from an A.I)

Time management is an issue for students, especially those who have simultaneous
tasks that need to be completed both at school and at work.
The purpose of this descriptive and qualitative research study is to describe time
management interventions used by working students to balance study and work.
Six working students from a public state university were selected through purposive
sampling.
A semi-structured written interview guide was used to collect data and was
administered through an online platform.
Similarly, a thematic approach was used for data analysis.
This study revealed two important themes: (1) internal efforts and (2) adjustment to

Both at school and at work, working students now seek time management
interventions at work to successfully complete tasks and avoid procrastination.

2.) The Impact of Time Management on Students' Academic Achievement

Abstract (paraphrased version from an A.I)

Effective time management plays a crucial role in influencing an individual's overall

performance and accomplishments. Modern students frequently express concerns
about the scarcity of time to complete their assigned tasks. Moreover, the
considerable flexibility and independence offered in a university setting can pose
challenges for students lacking proficient time management skills. Hence, the
primary objective of this research is to explore the connection between time
management and the academic success of students. Through factor analysis, three
key elements linked to time management were identified: time planning, time
attitudes, and time wastage. The analysis also revealed that there were no notable
differences in time management behaviors based on gender and race among
students. However, distinctions were observed in time management behaviors based
on the students' year of study and faculty. Despite a weak correlation, all time
management behaviors were found to have a positive impact on students' academic
achievements. Notably, time planning emerged as the most significant predictor in
this regard.
