HOME/ACCOMMODATION

1. What kind of house or flat do you want to live in in the future?

“In the future, I aspire to live in a cozy and sustainable house nestled amidst nature.
Ideally, I envision a small yet comfortable home with large windows that allow ample
natural light to fill the space. A spacious garden or backyard would be perfect for
growing my own organic produce and creating a serene outdoor retreat.”
2. Who do you live with?
“I live with my family. It consists of my parents and my younger sister. We share a warm
and supportive household where we spend quality time together. We also engage in
various activities like having meals together, watching movies, and having discussions.
It's comforting to know that we can rely on each other and share both
the joys and challenges of everyday life.”

3.How long have you lived there?

“I have been living in my current house for about three years. Over the years, I have
made it my own by personalizing the decor and creating a warm ambiance. I have
formed connections with my neighbors and have grown accustomed to
the amenities and services in the area.”

4.Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?

“Personally, I prefer living in a house rather than a flat. Houses offer more space
and privacy, which I value greatly. I enjoy having a backyard or garden where I can
relax, plant flowers, or even have a small vegetable patch. Houses also provide a sense
of ownership and the freedom to customize the living space to my liking.”

5. What's your favorite room in your apartment/house?

“My favorite room in my apartment is definitely the living room. It serves as a versatile
space where I can relax, entertain guests, and spend quality time with my family. The
living room is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating, a cozy rug, and vibrant
artwork on the walls. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day, whether I'm reading
a book or watching a movie.”

6.What makes you feel pleasant in your home?

“In my home, several things make me feel pleasant. One of them is the cozy
and inviting atmosphere. The soft lighting, comfortable furniture, and warm colors
create a soothing ambiance that immediately puts me at ease. Another aspect that
brings me joy is the presence of personal touches, such as family photographs,
artwork, and sentimental objects. They remind me of cherished memories and create a
sense of belonging.”

7. What's the difference between where you are living now and
where you have lived in the past?
“The main difference between where I am living now and where I have lived in the past is
the size and pace of the city. Previously, I lived in a small town with a close-
knit community and a slower lifestyle. The current city I reside in is much
larger, bustling with activity and offering a wider range of amenities and opportunities.”

8.Are the transport facilities to your home good?

“Yes, the transport facilities to my home are quite good. There are multiple options
available for commuting. Public buses operate regularly and cover a wide network,
providing convenient access to various parts of the city. Taxis and ride-sharing services
are also readily available, providing flexibility and convenience.”

9. Can you describe the place where you live?

“I live in a cozy apartment located in a bustling residential area. It's a vibrant
and diverse neighborhood with various amenities nearby. Within walking distance, there
are grocery stores, restaurants, and parks, making daily errands convenient. Also,
the architecture is a mix of modern buildings and traditional houses, creating an
interesting blend of old and new.”

THE AREA/CITY YOU LIVE IN

1.Which city or town do you live now?
Currently I am living in a town in Ba Ria Vung Tau province. This place is quite crowded and developed.
This is a town with the second largest seaport in the country, only after Hai Phong seaport
2.Do you like the area that you live in?
“Yes, I love the area that I live in. It's a vibrant and lively neighborhood with plenty of
shops, cafes, and restaurants. I also appreciate the easy access to public transportation
and the beautiful parks nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic place to call home.”

3.“Are there anything you don’t like about your hometown?”

“Of course I think I’d have to say that I’m not so keen on the weather. To be more precise, I
really can’t stand the summer months. This is due to the fact that the temperatures can get as high
as 40 degrees so it can be quite uncomfortable if you don’t have air conditioning in your house. In
addition to this, I’m not really that fond of the public transport system. And I guess this is
probably because the buses are too old and the seats are really hard, so long journeys are usually
pretty bumpy.”
4.Do you plan to live there for a long time
Oh yes,of course, I plan to live in my current house for a long time. There’s my parents
house and my parents said that they wanted me to live their with them

5.Where do you like to go in that area

In my town , there’re many entertainment areas, restaurants, and a coffee shops with many diffirent decorations. On
weekends I often go to drink coffee at a familiar shop. It is decorated extremely cozy and eye-catching, giving me a
familiar and comfortable feeling after a week of work
Task2
17.Describe a time when people near you made a lot of noise/ Describe an
occasion that somebody or something was making a lot of noise

A few months ago, I found myself in a bustling city square during a lively festival. The
noise emanated from a diverse crowd engaged in various activities like street
performances, live music, and vendors promoting their goods. Initially, the cacophony
felt overwhelming, but as I embraced the festive spirit, I joined in the celebrations,
interacting with the crowd and appreciating the vibrant energy around me. Despite the
initial surprise, I came to enjoy the lively atmosphere, realizing that the collective noise
was a testament to the community's shared joy and celebration.

So, at first, the intensity of the noise was startling. Navigating through the crowded
streets, I felt a twinge of annoyance, actually, as the sounds merged into a chaotic
symphony. However, as I immersed myself in the festivities, as I said before, my initial
irritation gave way to a growing sense of excitement and community spirit. The shared
joy and celebration permeating the air became infectious.

So, basically, I went from being in the kind of frame of mind when I wasn’t in the mood
for noise at all, to actually getting carried away with the spirit of the occasion. It just
goes to show that sometimes we need to shift our mood when it comes to moving from
one type of activity to another, or one state of mind to another, and I think that’s very
true when it comes to living in a big city where you are likely to be going from quiet
places to noisy places, from stressful places to fun places – you have to learn to be
adaptable – and that’s one of things that stood out that I took away with me that day:
it’s good to be a little bit adaptable.
18.Describe sth in your country that you are interested in

One place in Vietnam that has always fascinated me is Da Lat City. Nestled in the
Central Highlands, Da Lat is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, pleasant climate,
and unique charm.

What captivates me about Da Lat is its picturesque landscapes. The city is surrounded
by rolling hills, lush pine forests, and serene lakes, making it a haven for
nature enthusiasts. The temperate climate, often referred to as the "City
of Eternal Spring," offers a refreshing escape from the sweltering heat of many
Vietnamese cities.

One iconic attraction in Da Lat is Xuan Huong Lake, a picturesque body of water
surrounded by flower gardens and walking paths. Strolling around the lake, especially
during the blooming season, is a serene and enchanting experience.

The city is also famous for its vibrant flower industry. The Flower Park boasts an
incredible variety of colorful blooms, showcasing the region's agricultural prowess.

Moreover, Da Lat is known for its French colonial architecture, evident in landmarks
like the Da Lat Railway Station and the Linh Phuoc Pagoda, adorned with intricate
mosaic art.
Da Lat's cuisine is unique as well, offering delectable dishes like rice cakes, meatball
sandwiches, and the renowned rice paper pizza.
In summary, Da Lat City's combination of breathtaking scenery, pleasant weather,
cultural richness, and unique cuisine make it a place in Vietnam that I am genuinely
interested in exploring and experiencing in all its splendor.

19. Describe a person who you think is good at making people feel welcome in
his/her home
One individual who excels at making people feel welcome in her home is my mother.
From the moment you step through the front door, her warm smile and
genuine hospitality create an inviting atmosphere that instantly makes guests feel like
part of the family.

My mother possesses an innate ability to anticipate the needs of her visitors. Whether
it's preparing their favorite snacks or ensuring they have a comfortable place to rest, she

I) RELAXING
1. Do people have enough places to relax in your country?
Vietnam is a developing country. High population density will mean there are thousands of
more restaurants and entertainment areas. They have many choices to relax their minds after a
tiring day or week of work. In my opinion, the people here have enough and many choices of
places to relax.
2.What do people do when they are relax?
In my opinion, each person has different ways to relieve stress. Some people just like to be
alone reading books, some people like to play games with friends. As for me, drinking coffee
with my best friends is the most relaxing and comfortable thing to do to relieve all the stress
and fatigue after studying hard
3. Is physical activity good for relax?
For me, going to the gym or swimming is one of the activities that can both exercise your health
and relax your mind. Concentration will help you forget the stress you are experiencing, along
with helping you feel lighter and more relaxed as you immerse yourself in the cool water.
4. Do you think that spending too much time in front of screen is
good for relaxing?
In my opinion, not, sitting behind a screen for a long time will be very harmful to your eyes and
cause some other diseases. Instead of sitting next to the screen, we need to do some other
activities like playing sports or hanging out with friends to relieve stress.
5. Do people have to spend a lot of money on relaxing?
Oh, not enough. There are many ways to relax like reading a book or texting with friends, these
things won't cost too much money. Some other people will choose to go out to get some fresh
air with friends or go to restaurants and cafes to relieve stress, this will cost some money but
not really too much.
II) HOLIDAY
1. Do you think people in your coutry have long enough holiday?
For me, it’s not enough. Most workers get very little rest. Only 10-12 days a year outside of
holidays. Tet is an important holiday and has a break of at most one week.
