Bahraini Mother’s Day 2023

The Bahraini Mother's Day is an annual event which honors mothers and mother figures.
Mother figures may include grandmas, aunties, sisters, teachers, carers or guardians.
Every year it is celebrated in Bahrain, with lots of different exciting traditions and
celebration. This day gives you an opportunity to express gratitude and affection towards
your mother by presenting special gifts that would make them feel loved. This year the
Senior 1s and Senior 2s had conducted an assembly dedicated to all the beautiful
mothers. The assembly was held on 27th March 2023. The assembly started with a prayer
followed by the significance and thought of the day. The assembly included a wide range
of events like a heartwarming mime act, expressive poems recited in Arabic and English
and a melodious song. The mime act was a very delightful way of teaching us how without
our mother we wouldn’t be here and about the hard works of a mother. The poem talks
about how our mother immensely loves us no matter what. The melodious song helped us
show our mother how much we care and love for her. After that we had a fun quiz where
students got to share their fun and awkward moments with their mom. At the end of the
assembly Mrs.Vaz addressed the gathering. This way we had a very memorable Mother’s
Day assembly which was a successful one.
