What effects do cornices, chair rails and skirtings
have on a room? How can I design a room to my
individual taste using these design elements? In the
face of so many different possibilities, even profes-
sional designers find themselves facing a creative
challenge. For end consumers, the challenge can be
insurmountable. This is why NOËL & MARQUET have
developed their online configurator, the so-called
Room Designer.
While inspiration pictures often show few products at
once, the NOËL & MARQUET Room Designer offers
the possibility to compare various configurations of
profiles and other design elements, allowing users to
try things out for themselves. Moreover, professional
designers now have a further way of providing their
customers with competent and individual advice.

The Room Designer inspires. Moving around your
virtual home, you can choose between a traditional or
modern decor. Three preconfigured rooms (hall, living
room and kitchen) are available to give you an im-
pression of the countless design possibilities.
With just a few mouse-clicks, you can adapt the
rooms to your own taste, selecting design elements
from the NOËL & MARQUET collection. The tool also
offers a series of proposals for designing your walls,
combining different panel mouldings, wall panels and
wall tiles to add a further highlight to your room.

Whatever the combination, your room will never be
the same again. It’s your taste that matters. It is up
to you whether you opt for a classic cornice or a real
eye-catcher; whether you integrate indirect lighting;
whether you add chair rails and wall panels to your
walls. Which combination is more pleasing to the eye,
more cosy? Which makes a room appear higher?
Using the tool, you can try out different elements to
suit your taste. Want to look at the new room from a
different angle? No problem for the tool.

To better transpose the virtual experience into your
real-life situation, you can not only select different
colours for the various products, but also adapt the
colour of walls, ceilings and floors to your own taste,
either for individual rooms or the whole living area.
Moreover, the innovative configurator offers you the
possibility to select either daytime or night-time mode,
showing the effects of different lighting set-ups on
the rooms. This feature is especially interesting when
working with lighting profiles.
