English
1) Watch English News daily in order to equip yourself with the information and facts to be used in as content in
writing skills.
2) Read the chapter ' The little girl' and answer the following questions.
a) Kezia says that there are “different kinds of father”. Do you agree? Give reason for your answer.
b) “Cruel and harsh attitude is not enough to inculcate values and discipline among the children”. Justify this
statement in context of the lesson.
c) Has your life been different from or similar to that ofKezia when you were a child? Has your perception about your
parents changed now? Do you find any chance in your parent's behaviour vis – a-vis yours? Who has become more
understanding? What steps would you like to take to build a relationship based on understanding? Write three or
four paragraph ( 150-200 words) discussing these issues from your own experience.
3) Read English newspaper daily for and collect news related to the garbage collection and problems in the town.
