10. The mean and SD based on 60 observations were calculated as 276 and 22 respectively. But,
later it was found that an observation 372 in the data was wrongly taken as 327. Find the
corrected mean and SD.
11. For a group of 200 candidates, the mean and SD of scores were found to be 46 and 12.6
respectively. Later it is found that there two scores 48 and 51 was mistakenly taken as 45 and
50. Find the corrected mean and SD.
12. The mean and standard deviation of 9 times are 43 and 5 respectively. If an item of
value 3 is added to the set, find the mean and variance of these 10 items.
