In my opinion, this message is ineffective. The first reason is the use of Blog post to communicate the
message to the employees. A blog post is a public channel which means posting such a message is
meant to defame the employees. It might create hurdles in the future job prospects of the employees.
Also, the higher authority might question the credibility and professionalism of the supervisor. The tone
and word choice are impolite in that they might evoke negative emotions in the employees. In the light
of the above reasons, the essence of the message is not conveyed rather it spoils the dignity of the
employees and the organization.

PART B

I am delighted to announce that we are installing a monitoring system to make our environment more
productive. This initiative is only meant to keep the discipline and organization of the company. You will
be using electronic key cards to log in your entry and exit times. Anyone late for work more than three
times must submit an application specifying a genuine reason. In this way, it will help you and your peers
to be responsible and respectful of each other's time. Also, it will make the office environment
productive for everyone. I hope that everyone will adhere to the rules and cooperate in making the
office environment productive for everyone.
