Quick review on your interpersonal skills, workshops attended and your learning
competency, small bit about yourself as a person your likes and dislikes, most
memorable moment, greatest accomplishment…

What’s your passion?
Model Answer:
If it’s not engineering, make sure your answer won’t affect the interview.
Do not cling on to the fact that you couldn’t continue your passion. Talk how you are
trying to do various activities to find it. Do not answer negatively. Lean forward while
answering the same. This is a positive body language.

What is success to you and how would you measure it?

Share your views on success meaning what or who according to your is successful and
what makes your think would make you successful? Like building a house or a world
tour or a big car.

I work on it and become better. I would take it positively as they have pointed out my
loopholes. I will not dwell or mull on it for a long time if I find it inappropriate.

My past has been the reason for what I am today and I’m happy with it. I do not wish to
change whether it was good or bad or if you have an instance to change go ahead and
talk about it. Remember your answer should not contradict your resume or your

Model Answer:
If Family comes first; I will definitely abide by the rules of the company. I chose the
family because I’m the only person to take care of the family and I can take the help of
my team members if it’s required.
If Work comes first then, you can talk about how your family or your siblings or
neighbor’s have taken care of the situation and that you will let your immediate
superior know about this event so that in case of emergency you have to leave.

Do you prefer working alone or in team?
Model answer:
In fact, I’m comfortable either ways. But I prefer working in a team because, each and
everyone has a different view on the problem and while working as a team, we can
come up with the most efficient idea for a given problem or if you like to work alone talk
about how you’ll always be a team player and adapt yourself with team mates.

Gossip mongers, time stealers, people who ill-treat others, etc. Explain how you stay
away from such people still maintaining acceptable social interactions.
