Mariana Rodriguez

My name is Mariana Rodriguez . I’ve lived in Merced Ca, for 14 years now. I was

originally born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, but I was brought here when I was 4 months.

California, or, norcal, is known for agriculture, and farming. I have lived in the Valley for 14

years now. I used to live in La for 5 years, then moved to modesto and lived with my uncle for 6

months. After my dad got a stable job, we then moved to Merced in which we have now been

here for 13 years.

I remain a focused and dedicated student with passion for soccer, service, and exemplify

academic excellence. As a member of FCCLA for three years now, I’ve been committed to

bettering my community while maintaining a stellar 4.0 gpa. My involvement with FCCLA is a

testament to my commitment to leadership and personal growth. In hopes that one day it’ll make

me an inspiring educator. Throughout my high school journey, my academic achievements have

been nothing short of remarkable. Maintaining a flawless 4.0 GPA, I have excelled in every

subject, from mathematics to literature. My teachers commend my dedication, intellectual

curiosity, and commitment to excellence. Beyond the classroom, I am a leader in her school's

chapter of FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), where she channels

her passion for community service into impactful projects.
