GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE

During this course, topics such as negative exponents, inequalities, complex numbers, radicals, quadratic functions, and logarithms will be studied. Hands-on
activities give students the opportunity to experience advanced mathematical topics in the real world.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

Acquire the necessary knowledge to develop and solve equations, problems and operations with skill and understanding of elementary algebra concepts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

 Understand the concepts studied in operations that require elementary algebra.

 Perform operations with negative exponents, inequalities, complex numbers, radicals, quadratic functions, and logarithms.
 Develop logical reasoning to solve various problems that require the topics covered in the course.
 Apply knowledge to problems and operations to advance experimental and practical skills.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS

Instructional methods are didactic mechanisms used by the instructor to support each aspect related to the development of the content of a course. It is the
means to guarantee that students assume their own decisions and responsibilities to achieve learning results, establishing significant relationships between
what is already known and what must be known through a dynamic of deepening and expanding knowledge.
