1. Programs. Applications are invited from Bangladeshi citizens who have passed HSC/DIPLOMA/GCE 'A'
Level or Equivalent Examination (Science Group) from home and abroad for admission in BAUST Khulna in
following Undergraduate Engineering Programs:

3. Qualification to Apply. Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalent or A level or equivalent or Diploma
examination with at least GPA 3.0 in Mathematics are eligible to apply, if he/she fulfills the following conditions:
a. HSC or equivalent examination in Science Group with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with
minimum CGPA 3.0 (with additional subject). The total CGPA of SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent
should be at least 7.0 (with additional subject).

b. Applicants who have passed HSC/Diploma in relevant subjects or equivalent in 2021, 2022 and
2023 are eligible to apply.

c. GCE ('O' and 'A' Levels or Equivalent).

(1) The applicants who passed in 2019, 2020 and 2021with minimum 'C' grade in five subjects
including mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in GCE 'O' Level.
(2) The applicants who passed in 2021, 2022 and 2023 with minimum 'C' grades in
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in GCE 'A' Level.
d. Diploma holders in relevant subjects are eligible to apply with at least CGPA 3.0.
e. Freedom Fighter Quota. Son/daughter of the freedom fighter may apply. (Detailed information downloaded
from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs website http://mis.molwa.gov.bd/freedom-fighter-list and
relationship certificate with the freedom fighter are to be submitted to BAUST Khulna Admission Office by
25 May 2024.

4. Application Form Submission. Application to be submitted online through BAUST Khulna website
(https://admission.baustkhulna.ac.bd). After successful submission of application with online payment, applicant can
download Admit Card. Applicant have the option to collect admission form physically from BAUST Khulna campus
and submit it by depositing 700 BDT with a Bank Draft/Pay Order in favor of " BAUST Khulna Admission Fund "
(Account Number 0066-0320000095, Trust Bank Ltd, Jahanabad Cantt Branch). For any query please contact
01769564531 from 08:30 – 15:00 hours. (N.B. Applicants are encouraged to apply through online.)
5. Examination and Marks Distribution.

6. Selection Criteria. The merit list of applicants selected for Admission will be based on the following criteria:
MCQ+Written test 60%
Viva/Interview 20%
CGPA of SSC/O level/equivalent examinations 10%
CGPA of HSC/A level/equivalent examinations 10%

Name of the applicants selected for admission will be published in the BAUST Khulna website
(www.baustkhulna.ac.bd) and Notice Board.
7. Medical Checkup. Candidates selected though above procedure will have to deposit Blood Group, Blood for
CBC, HBs. Ag and Urine R/E tests during admission.
8. Dope Test. BAUST Khulna ensures a drug free campus for every student. That's why students will have to
go through Dope Test during admission time.
