Day 1
March 4, 2024
The first day of our work immersion. Sir Cris Alagad 9riented us about the things that
we should do if we are already inside the office where we are assigned. We are assigned in
the finance office together with my other classmate Karen Grace Amarante. As we entered
the office, we greeted them good mornings and with a warm smile on our faces.Sir Cris
introduces us to ma’am Jinky Ediza who will supervise us while we are working in the
finance office. It’s Monday so the office staffs are very busy and ma’am Jinky have a lot of
things to finish, so she just asked us to sit and observe the busy working environment in the
finance office.
Day 2
March 5, 2024
On the second day of our work immersion, the first thing that we did after we arrived
at the finance office is we clean the workplace, we wipe the dust and sweep the floor. After
cleaning the office ma’am Jinky arrived and explained to us what will be our task for the day.
She asked us to arrange the pile of disbursement vauchers according to it’s date. We arrange
it meticulously and give attention to detail because the disbursement vauchers serves as a

We take our lunch and came back at exactly 1:00 pm in the afternoon to continue our
work. After we finished the tasks that was given to us , ma’am Jinky informed us that she
will not be in the office for the following day and she instructed us to arrange the the
Palawan insurance of the G12 students of MNHS in alphabetical order, we need to paste it in
the back part of the scratch papers. We don havea lot of things to do so we just started
working with the task even if the task should be made for the following day. We continue
working until 5:00 pm, we cleaned the workplace before going out of the office.
Day 3
March 6, 2024
It’s the third day of our work immersion at the finance office. I waited for my
classmate so we can go together in the finance office. We greated the other staffs that is
already in the office. We put down our things and started cleaning the office right away while
waiting for ma’am Jinky to arrive. There’s not a lot of work for this day, we are just asked to
deliver the papers that sir ranjel need to sign in the principals office. After sir Ranjel finished

March 7, 2024
It’s the fourth day of our work immersion in the finance office. Unlike the other day
that we don’t have a lot of things to do, this day we are back to rigor administrative tasks. We
are asked to arrange the Bureau of International Revenue (BIR) forms that the teachers and
non-teaching staffs of MNHS. We meticulously paid attention in arranging the BIR forms. We

are also asked to check the payroll of the teachers if there are missing payrolls. As usual we

As the week progressed, the rhythm of productivity continued unabated. Day five saw
a harmonious blend of administrative duties and creative endeavors. We arrived early at the
finance office and wait for ma’am Jinky to arrive. While waiting, we also cleaned the office.
We arrange the disbursement vauchers that ma’am Jelian Beb Quiliope need to sign. Ma’am
Jelian arrived at the office and we assisted her while she was signing the papers. We are also
asked by sir Benjie to to photocopy some important papers that sir ranjel need to sign. We

it’s gonna be a busy day ahead. We cleaned the office as soon as we arrived and after that we
wait for ma’am Jinky. We arrange the disbursement vauchers that sir Meil Paculanang need
to sign which we diligently reviewed. We went to his cubicle office and ask if what time is
his free time because the finance department needed him to sign the disbursement vauchers.

He said that his free time is 1:00 PM in the afternoon. We delivered the disbursement
vauchers that he needs to sign in his office at exactly 1:00in the afternoon so he doesn’thave
to go to the office to sign it. We cleaned the office before going home.
Day 7
The seventh day of our work immersion at the finance office was dedicated to ensuring
compliance with BIR requirements pertaining to teacher-related activities. Sir Benjie asked us
to arrange the BIR forms in alphabetical order, check if all the teachers completely sign it and
if there are missing BIR forms. Administrative processes were executed with precision and
legal obligations. The day concluded with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that
standards.
Day 8
It’s the eighth day of our work immersion at the finance office, procurement processes
took center stage, underscoring the importance of strategic sourcing and resource management.
We cleaned the office and wait for ma’am Jinky to arrive. Sir John Rey taught us how to make
a purchase order (PO) he taught us about the importance of strategic sourcing and resource

management. Purchase orders were prepared and issued with careful consideration, balancing
the need for quality goods and services with budgetary constraints. Through effective
procurement practices, the organization sought to optimize resource allocation and enhance
operational efficiency, thus ensuring sustainable growth and development. We cleaned the

March 14,2024
It’s the ninth day of our work immersion at the finance office. After we arrived at the
office and while waiting for ma’am Jinky to arrive we as usual started cleaning the office. Sir
Benjie asked me to get the signed activity design for the Municipal Meet and the MOA
Signing in the principals office. After I get the signed activity design he asked me to
photocopy it one by one. There’s not a lot of work to do for this day and we just cleaned the

Finally, the last day of our work immersion at the finance office. We arrived at the office
and as per usual we cleaned up and wait for ma’am Jinky. Ma’am Jinky arrived and assigned
us our last task. The have a sudden meeting so ma’am Mae asked us to arrange the DTR’Sof

the teachers. We meticulously review the DTR’S and organized it alphabeticaly. This is done
to ensure the accountability and compliance with the regulatory requirements. We took our
lunch break and came back to finish our work. It was already almost 5:00 pm when we finished
our task. We cleaned our workplace for the last time and bid goodbye’s to everyone.

SCHOOL HISTORY
Mabinay National High School was established in 1972. It was first named as Mabinay
Municipal High School. It was first headed by Mr. Ricardo Tan being the district supervisor.
Some elementary teachers at the time also handled classes in this high school.
The lot by the school was donated by the Municipal of Mabinay to the Department of
Education. The school has a land area of 32,778 Square Meter that has recently accommodated
55 classrooms. The school does not have enough space for gardening and other activities of
the TLE-Plant Production. However, the teachers are creative enough to have implemented pot
gardening/urban gardening.
Curriculum for the third- and fourth- year levels and K to 12 Basic Education for grade VII
and grade VIII for school year 2013-2014 until such time that day K to 12 Basic Education

Mabinay National High School is also catering special education students specially the
hearing impaired. The flash is now on its 40 years of implementation. There are eight subjects
in the R-BEC and still 8 subjects in the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. However, time
allotment and grading system in the current curriculum specially with the inclusion greatly
vary from the previous one especially with the inclusion of the Independent Cooperative
Learning. Moreover, the grading system is quite different. ICT integration is on its full
implementation. The school is also implementing the Alternative Delivery Mode using the
Mabinay National High School is headed by the Secondary School Principal I and
supported by 53 teacher personnel and 3 non-teaching staff who are all nationally-founded.
Teacher aids and school aides are also supporting the school’s operation and their honoraria
are taken from the Local Government Unit of Mabinay. The school is an implementing unit.
Cash allocations are received, disbursed and directly managed at the school level. Personal
services, MOOE and other funds are directly downloaded to the school’s account, thus,
Teachers have been trained at the school, District, Division, Regional and National
Levels. Although for higher training activities, all the personnel could not be sent at one time,
yet, as much as possible, everybody is given a chance. Enrollment as reflected in the School
