Topic: Installation of Internet Facility for Synchronous Teaching: Bridging the Learning Gap of
Modular Learning

Reasons:

1. To install internet facility in order that the teacher could be able to conduct synchronous
teaching especially on the lessons the are difficult to understand by the students.
2. To encourage connectivity among stakeholders for the purpose of looking for financial
support for the internet connection.
3. To bridge the learning gaps of students on modular learning.

Questions to be answered:

1. What is the profile of the students in terms of:


a. Age
b. Sex
c. Family income
d. Number of siblings in school
e. Number of siblings not in school
2. What is the level of academic performance of the students on the first quarter grade in all
subject area?
3. Is there a significant difference on the academic performance of the students before and
after the synchronous teaching intervention is applied?

Who: Senior High School Students for School Year 2021-2022.

When: Second Quarter for School Year 2021-2022.

Sampling: Taken as a whole (182 SHS students)

Instrument:

Q1. To determine the profile of the participants, the percentage frequency distribution will be
used.

Q2. To determine the academic performance of the participants, the mean will be used.

Q3. To determine the significant difference on the level of academic performance before and
after the intervention, the median sign test- test statistics will be used.
