PROGRAMMES OF SRI CHAITANYA SCHOOLS
Adoption Program
Adoption Programme helps to support the students in improving their academic
performance and to create a student-friendly and parent-friendly atmosphere in the
campus through counseling and personal guidance.
• The care of 10 to 15 students in each class is handed over to one teacher dealing with
that class.
• The Adoption teacher interacts with the students and their parents and helps them
improve their standards and solves their problems.
• An Adoption Record is maintained by the Adoption Teacher with all the details of
counselling and measures taken.
• The Adoption Teacher speaks with the students on daily basis and makes phone calls
to the parents about the performance of their children at least twice in a month.
Calligraphy
Calligraphy is an art form that focuses on writing of beautiful letters. In our Sri Chaitanya
School, the style of handwriting that is followed is Lucida. Benefits of the LUCIDA
handwriting are as follows:

This is the programme for guiding the topper students of class to achieve the best scores in
the board exams.

“STAR” Programme for Class 10
“STAR” Programme is for 10th Class Students for scoring the Best Marks in the Board
Exams by following this strategical approach.

• R – Regular Attendance
By following this STAR Programme, our students of Class 10 are shining like Stars in the
Board Exams every year.
Smart Living Programme
The Smart Living Programme is aimed at instilling life skills, social awareness and leadership
qualities in the students, leading them to All Round Development.
The word SMART in the title stands for:
S – Self Discipline
M – Moral Values
A – Awareness on Health
R – Responsibility towards Society
T – Technological Advancement
Every month one theme on the above values is taken, house-wise competitions like quiz,
debate, painting, essay writing competitions etc. and activities like rallies, campaigns like
plantation, seminars etc. are conducted.
June & July: Environment – Clean India-Green India / Haritha Bharath
August: Patriotism theme – My India-My Pride / Jayaho Bharath
September & October: Health Awareness – Be Healthy-Be Happy
November: Social Awareness – Traffic Awareness Programme – Safe on Roads
December: Social Awareness – Agriculture in India – Jai Kisan-Jai Bharath
February: Moral Values – Family Values – Family Fest
Enlightenment in the students and Awareness of Society are the main pillars of the Smart
Living Programme.
Co-Curricular Activities
Co-Curricular Activities play a vital role in reinforcing the learning process. They help in
applying the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom practically and thus make the
learning process complete. The following Co-Curricular Activities are conducted in the
School.

• Drawing, Painting and Craft Competitions
• Sport and Games for physical and mental fitness
• Yoga for better focus and concentration and relief from stress

etc.
• Activities like Pep Talk in morning assembly
English Enhancement Programme
English Enhancement Programme (EEP) is meant of improving the comprehension skills and
vocabulary skills and understanding skills of the students of C-Batch, Medicon, ICON, IPL
and MPL.
• This is highly helpful to them in understanding the long questions given in
competitive exams and various Entrance Tests like JEE MAINS & ADVANCED in a short
time and answering the questions in the time limit given.
• Separate EEP Book is given to each class to enhance their skills. A separate period is
allotted.
• Along with giving practice in this direction, EVR Tests are conducted from time to
time to judge their levels of comprehension and word power.
• Sri Chaitanya School created history by bagging 62 Winning Projects in NSS Space
Contests at International Level.
• World 1st Prize: 7 Projects; World 2nd Prize: 11 Projects & World 3rd Prize: 15 Projects
& Honorable Mentions: 29 Projects
• 3 cash awards were announced by NSS in this contest and 2 cash awards were won
by Sri Chaitanya for the second consecutive year.
• For the past 11 years the Asian School Giant, Sri Chaitanya has been winning the
World Championship consecutively.
THE OLYMPIADS
• The students are made to participate in various Olympiads depending on the
Orientation in which they are studying. These are made easy by Sri Chaitanya, The
Right Mentor for IIT, Medical, Olympiad and all other competitive exams.
• Our students are made to have external competition with other schools, attempting
all Olympiad exams conducted by other Olympiad organisations.
• Olympiads help the students in developing their confidence levels by the time they
appear for the Entrance Examination of their Goal, may it be IIT, NEET or any other
CET.
• The following are the Orientation-wise Olympiads.
• Techno: INTSO, UCO, NSTSE
• C-Batch & Medicon: KAT, INTSO, UCO, NSTSE
• ICON: IAPT, KAT, INTSO
• IPL & MPL: IAPT, RMO, KAT, INTSO
• Not only we make our students apply these Olympiads but also Preparation will be
given along with separate worksheets and mock tests.
