EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Business opportunities refer to how we connected the case study to business and
applied it to our business strategy to become a successful entrepreneur, as well as
how we identified every path of production from start to finish. It also teaches us how
to realize any issues with this company's strategic strategy.

These Cookies by Fazal’s Daughters operate through an online with a unique point of
sale. The concept of this cookies business is to provide healthy cookies and quality
ingredients with the aim of catering to different consumer tastes. This homemade in
make reservations based on orders received online. These cookies also make attractive
packaging and special delivery services to customers.

The goals of this homemade Cookies by Fazal’s Daughters were to bake perfect
cookies and give customers a one-of-a-kind experience. It is important to ensure
customer loyalty by providing high-quality products and taking care to make them
feel unique.

Finally, based on this business opportunity, I community knows how to relate and
define each phase in order to move forward and minimize the challenges that arise
from these cookies businesses, each of which has its own strengths and strategic.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

2.1 Product and Service

My business's main product is a cookies. Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter is the name of

my product. Since I enjoy eating cookies, I become their agent. It is because they have
the flavour cookies that I really like. I believe that everyone has a good taste, just like
me, and that if they are true cookie connoisseurs, they would know which cookies are
the best. This is how a general theory of cookies could be expressed. The idea of
establishing Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter came from that everyone love the cookies
made by their mother.

To meet this need, the Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter came up with the concept of safe
cookies that taste like cookies made by a mother. Aside from that, the trend of eating
sweet and savory snacks has changed considerably from unhealthy, prepared snacks
that are harmful to health to eating nutritious biscuits that are similar to those made at
home. These cookies were established in December 2020 and until today still take
orders and are delivered to buyers. Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter wanted to start its
business as a handmade cookies shop in order to appeal to this growing trend. I want
people to be able to taste our cookies and find out for themselves how good they are.

2.2 Business Activity

Cookies are usually thin, flat, and sweet baked or fried foods. Flour, sugar, and some
kind of oil or fat are typically included in it. Other ingredients such as raisins, oats,
chocolate chips, nuts, and so on may be included. This is according to our taste
because cookies can put in varieties ingredient that we can eat better and satisfied.
Cookies are often eaten with drinks such as milk, coffee, or tea a method of releasing
more flavor from confections by dissolving the sugars while softening the texture.
Most cookies are baked until crisp or only long enough to keep their softness, but
some cookies are not baked at all. The softness of the cookie will be affected by the
amount of time it is baked.

4
Other than that, Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter makes only one flavor such chocolate
chip cookies. To ensure consistency, the ingredients required are allowed via a master
list containing all of the ingredients. Following that, the ingredients are moved to
mixers and then to a cutting machine. The cookies are then placed on a cooling rack
after being heated in an oven. The cookies are manually packed after they have all
been baked. Finally, the cookies are labeled and sealed in their packaging.

2.3 Target Customer

I choose to target customers people of all ages it is because I already looking for
information on affordable prices for sale in the surrounding area. This is because,
there are a handful of less affluent communities who cannot afford to buy these
cookies. Therefore, the owner of these cookies puts an affordable price on these
cookies.

2.4 Tools Use For Promotion

As a new business, I create an online presence for cookies business through social
media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. The aim of creating
social media pages is to engage potential customers in discussion and create
awareness about the business. Social media is two way communication platform that
allows business owners to clarify doubts of potential customers. Social media is the
best platform to promote products or service at low cost.

The success of this online business homemade cookies depends on the quality of
cookies and the ability of the business owner to deliver on time. Customers often
expect their order to be delivered within 24hours, I also use counter companies like
JnT Express and Pos Laju to ensure on time delivery. This may be easier to me to
restrict a particular city and penetrate it through social media promotion and on-time
delivery of product. Restricting to a locality or a city can help me to stay focused on
operational activities and maintain the quality.

5
This cookies do their best to promote it by displaying cookies pictures, logos,
feedback from buyers who have tasted these cookies. The more it promotes feedback
from buyers, the more people want to taste and buy it. I make two types of packaging
such as in jars and packaging in paper bags (zip lock). However these two packages
have different prices. for example, inside it costs RM20 while in a paper bags (zip
lock) by gram which is 100g it costs RM10. After making a survey, the best -selling
packaging is packaging in jars because of its relatively large quantity.

These cookies were established in October 2020 and until today still take orders and
are delivered to buyers. Cookies by Fazal’s Daughter wanted to start its business as a
handmade cookies shop in order to appeal to this growing trend. I want people to be
able to taste our cookies and find out for themselves how good they are.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

3.1 Sales

In this business I make a list of anticipated expenditures and sales for the one months
of business. In one month I receive sale about RM250. Besides, in one month I got
10-15 customers who ordered cookies in my platforms social media such a WhatsApp
and Instagram.

3.2 Management Service

I manage my times to service the cookies for 1 days to make a cookies dough and 1
until 2 days to baked 15 packaging for cookies. I make initial preparations to prepare
cookies before taking orders from customers. This is because it simplifies me and
saves time so that customers don’t wait for my cookies to be ready. Once completed I
continue to make special deliveries to customers. After that, I always interact with my
customer for a feedback of my cookies homemade. This is because I can improve my
skill for a better taste of cookies. These cookies produce two attractive types of
packaging for sale. Since it produces one type of flavor, I is looking for other
initiatives to attract customers. By producing 2 types of packaging, customers are free
to choose the packaging they want to purchase.

3.3 Profits that earn and lose

After I made an assessment in my business, no losses occurred in this one month. I

work hard to promote as well as showcase feedback cookies that have been sold to
customers on social media. Therefore, many people want to taste and buy these
cookies even if only to buy one bottle or one packet of cookies. This has increased my
target sales results in one month.

EXPERIANTAL LEARNING

I have learned something from the business which is I have been doing for a month.
As such, I know how to manage time in business and learning. I also can add
knowledge about promoting a product on social media so that it grows and is known
to many people. In addition, I also learned to interact with the public or customers to
get feedback on the cookies made. I was able to socialize and add contacts and this
could result in the sales of these cookies increasing. Finally, I was able to find out
whether my business is at a loss or a profit. Therefore, if I suffer a loss, I will continue
to strive to increase my sales by promoting or showcasing these cookies to influential
people on social media to promote cookies. Therefore, the Cookies by Fazal’s
Daughter will get a warm response and will increase the sales of these cookies.
