I. INTRODUCTION
For more than two (2) years under the pandemic, the Philippine education system was
badly affected. One emerging reality as a result of the crisis is the migration to online learning
modalities to mitigate the risk of face-to-face interaction. Our school was forced to migrate from
face-to-face delivery to long distance modality (online, blended and modular) during school
lockdowns. However, this sudden shift has resulted in problems especially for learners without
access to technology. In the case of modular modality, students failed to fully grasps each lesson
because of limited resources and/or in absence of person who will guide them. In the part of
teachers, they were struggling in conducting online classes, online submission of reports and other
teaching related activities. Truly academic engagement has been a challenge for both teachers
and students.
As the school opens it door for physical learning, the school is crafting a learning recovery
and continuity program as part of our post pandemic programs. Effective intervention must be
ensured so that every learner can catch up and accelerate their learnings.
