NARRATIVE REPORT
I. TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY: 1ST VIRTUAL LEARNING ACTION CELL IN ARALING PANLIPUNAN ON
The LAC session was started on time, at exactly 9:00 AM via ZOOM Meet. It started with a prayer
and singing of the National Anthem. The activity aims to: Increase teachers’ awareness of the
development of teaching resources including ICT. Ma’am Dianne R. Catabay discussed the step by step
of using the Kahoot App. Kahoot! is a tool that delivers and presents questions to students. It is set up as
a game that students can play either individually or in groups. Instructors provide students with multiple-
choice questions, which are projected on a classroom screen. The second topic of Ma’am Catabay was
the Genially App. Genially is a web-based tool, available in a free version, that allows teachers to create
animated infographics, interactive presentations, and even escape games. Using this tool to present
content to your students in a fun way. It can also use this to students as a visual aid during their oral
presentations. After Ma’am Catabay presents the two web-based tools, she let the AP teachers
experience how to use them. She evenly guides them on the process of how to use the tools. The next
facilitator was Ma’am Belinda Marjorie L. Pelayo, her topic was the use of Quizizz and Quipper in

She first presents the step-by-step procedure on how to use the Quizizz web-based tool. She even let the
teachers experience how to use the tool. Quizizz is self-paced so each student gets a chance to answer
without feeling rushed. Students also see questions on their own devices, can have questions read aloud
so, they feel empowered to answer to the best of their ability. The last topic of this LAC session was the
importance used of QUIPPER. Since the school has its own account in the QUIPPER, Ma’am Pelayo
emphasizes that teachers should use this, so that the teaching process will be easy. The Quipper School
platform, for instance, provides features that cater to every educator's needs, complementing today's
classrooms. Through Quipper School, teachers can take advantage of the ready-made teaching guides,
editable presentation slides, and other resource materials to support their daily lessons.
As an output for this LAC session, AP teachers will do a reflection paper about their learnings in
this session. They were also told by their coordinator that starting January 2023 they will include in their
activities in AP subjects what they have learned on the four web-based tools.
After the session, an evaluation link was given to the participants. In this LAC session, 9 were
