Exploring/Emerging (E) - a level of practice in which the teacher leader relies on ongoing assistance
from more experienced colleagues for support, guidance, and survival. The teacher leader is moving
toward becoming more self-directed and independent in her/his practice. ​

leadership and easily applies what s/he has learned about leadership.

Integrating/Innovating (I) - a level of development in which the teacher leader is fully skilled and

Summary of Strengths and Areas of Possible Growth


During my time teaching at Connections Academy I had the opportunity to work with various teams such as my
homeroom cohort, electives Department, and PLC team.

This year I have had the opportunity to grow as a leader, as the lead of my PLC team. I facilitate our meetings by
guiding my team members through each topic, providing time for discussion, listening, and providing
clarification. My PLC team members collaborate very well together, we focus on trying to improve our lessons
and overall student learning.

Our school provides plenty of opportunities for professional development and growth. Some identified areas of
growth improving my knowledge of cultural backgrounds in order to better support my students and promote
effective interactions with my colleagues.
