The incoming 220 KV supply has to be obtained from the Grid Sub-station of KPTCL located at Humnabad. The existing 220/110 KV GSS of KPTCL at Humnabad presently have four out-going transmission lines as below:~ Transmission line of 110 KV towards Humnabad and crossing the existing Railway track at 38.63 km nearer to proposed TSS location at Humnabad. ii) Transmission line of 220 KV for Sedam and crossing the existing Railway track @40.97 km in between Humnabad to Kallur Road. iii) Transmission line of 220 KV for Gulbarga and crossing the existing Rly track @ km 41.136 in between Humnabad to Kallur road. iv) Transmission line of 220 KV for Halbarga and not crossing the Rly.track nearby. 2 3, 3(A) i) KPTCL. informed that they can provide the supply to TSS from the existing transmission line of 220 KV going to Sedam which is crossing the Railway track at ch.40.97 km for proposed TSS at Humnabad after strengthening and from the existing transmission line 220 KV going to Gulbarga and crossing existing Rly track @ km 41.136 for proposed TSS at Kullur Road after strengthening, Therefore, the power transmission to TSS may be provided to either at Humnabad or at Kalluru road locations as desired by Railways. The financial implication for the construction of TSS at Humnabad and Kallur road along with supply of transmission line is worked out and given below:- ‘SS at Humnabad (km 38.00 — km 38.150 km) 1.The incoming 220 KV supply has to be obtained from KPTCL GSS at Humnabad and crow flight distance from the proposed TSS to the existing grid ‘Sub-Station(GSS) at Humnabad is about 4.26 km. The said crow flight route Se? 7 1 Transforming to GREEN Project Unit Secunderabad: Main Excl, 10-3180, 15/1, Fst Floor St, Job's Road, Eat Maredpaly, Secundorabad-600 026, Telangana, (INDIA) ‘rae raf: free, tae 1, Sae29, zo ~ 122001 (HTK) Corporat Ofc: Shikhar, Pt No, Sactor20, Gury 122001 (NDIA) ofp wrafera: ota stare, cies were, feel - 110 092 (Tea) Registered Office: SCOPE Minar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 110.092, (INDIA) FAG (Tol): O40-27818507, 27641400, YT (Fax) 040-27819004, Het (E-mail: socbadports.cm TARTIEE (Webste) worn om GIN No: L74a99DL 1974601007227 Agen 2 @ Gerd) ufeahorn wang fereerare: wrt yaw, # 10-3-150, 151/1, ween aa, He vita Vhs, gee uTesTeA, Rrererare - 500 026, Aeieten (awe) passes through built-up area and ear-marked layout etc. To avoid/dispense any disputes arising out of land acquisition through RoW and for speedy execution & commissioning of TSS, there are two options left i.e strengthening of existing 220 KV transmission line of Sedam, crossing Railway track at km 40.97, by constructing a new tower adjacent to existing tower of the Sedam corridor, thereby providing multi-circuit transmission. Thereafter the said transmission line shall run parallel to the existing Rly track, from Km 40.97 to Km 38.150 by 220 KV under ground cables or by 220 KV tower line construction. ii) However, transmission line of 220 KV parallel to existing Railway track is not technically feasible due to parallelism of 220 KV transmission line with 25 KV OHE for about 3 km and minimum required distance from the existing railway track is not available. Further, there is @ one 110 KV transmission line which is crossing to the existing track at Km 38.63 and incoming feeder of 220 KV has to cross it. Hence, 220 KV under ground cable with copper conductor is recommended from km 40.97 to proposed location of TSS. iii) Railway has opted for 220 KV double circuit and hence, we have to run 6 nos of 220 KV single core UG cable from Km 40.97 to Km 38.150. The approx. cost of 220 KV UG cable construction as per discussion with M/s KPTCL officials is around Rs.15.0 crore/km for 6 lines. iv) The tentative rate for strengthening plus Multi circuit construction as per discussion with M/s KPTCL is about Rs.3.1 crores /km. Hence, overall cost for incoming transmission line from GSS to TSS may be about Rs.87.40 crores. (Rs.15.00 Cr x 3 Km for UG cable + Rs.3.1 Cr x 4 km for strengthening & construction of multi-circuit). v) About 8.0 mtr height 150 mtr length RCC retaining wall construction will also be needed at the proposed TSS location to maintain minimum required width for the construction of TSS. Approx. cost for construction of Retaining wall is Rs.5.00 Cr( @ Rs.3.30 Lakh Per RMT of wall). vi) One major drain is passing at mid of the proposed location which needs to be diverted suitably. The cost of the diversion of nallah is about Rs.1.5 Cr. CONCLUSION: With the above deliberations, the over all cost for supply of power from GSS to proposed TSS at Humnabad by using Sedam transmission line corridor and laying under ground cable and civil work modifications has been worked out as Rs.63.90 Cr approx. TSS at Kallur road: (km 42.650 - km 42.8 i) The incoming supply may be taken from the existing 220 KV Gulbarga Transmission line crossing railway track at km 41.136 with strengthening of existing line and thereafter by constructing tower line parallel to Railway track from km 41.136 to km 42.65 with maintaing the required minimum distance from io"? Goer) the existing railway track to avoid the parallelism of 220 KV transmission line with 25 KV OHE . The RoW of proposed new tower line from km 41.136 to km. 42.65 is passing through open land, free from built-up area and ear-marked layout, residential plots and houses. The towers may be erected through open field and there is no need of underground cable. The existing check dam is located about 800-900m away from proposed location and at lower level also to the proposed location of TSS. CONCLUSION: The approximate cost for supply of power from GSS to proposed TSS at Kullur road by using Gulbarga Transmission line corridor is Rs. 18.6 Cr. approx. (Rs.3.1 Cr x 6 km route length including strengthening plus multi-circuit construction. Submitted for further directions please. per C. Anil Kdinar GM (E S&TYRITES Ltd Copy to: 1.
