Basic Functions
• Analyzing diverse business problems and providing high quality analysis and business insights
• Delivering innovative solutions that create significant impact on client’s business
• Project Management of projects using multiple levers like Lean Six Sigma, Workflow, RPA, Content
Extraction, Conversational AI, and Analytics over the project life cycle, which may include Current
State Mapping, Data/Trend Analysis, Opportunity Identification, To Be State Creation, Business Case
and Project Management of the Execution
Essential Functions
• Work in a live client engagement environment on short term high intensity projects
• Support Senior Leadership in strategy development
• Plan and direct a team of 0-3 members for client project delivery
• Team Management- Coordination with development team, infra set-up for initial solution design
• Effective operations and client delivery management by learning, applying data science, statistical and
business intelligence tools, as required, e.g. SQL, Python, C-Sharp, C#, Tableau, Power BI and others,
to generate insights for decision making in various functional areas like marketing, pricing, risk, fraud,
etc.
• Work on one or more data science problem statements which requires AI, ML, advanced analytics,
automation, data engineering, analytics insights and business intelligence
• End to end project management and coordination of all sub team efforts
a. Manage delivery and blue printing of projects
b. Develop and maintain project plan for assigned projects
c. Ensure timely report out of project progress to client through weekly / monthly governance
calls / updates
d. Highlighting key risks and issues
• Value Delivery - Support in EXL strategic priorities for driving value capture for EXLCompliance / Risk:
Proactive identification of risks and issues. Prepares mitigation strategies and plans to resolve these
issues, Adhering to the compliance policies and methodologies
• Solving complex business problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Play a crucial role in supporting firm development activities like Training, Staffing, Recruitment
and Business Development Support etc.
• Open to travel for both short and long term to international client locations

Primary Interactions
• Internal:
o Engages with EXL Leaders, depending on the project construct and requirement
o All Analytics and any other EXL function, on need basis
o Technical cross functional teams consisting of Engagement Leads, Solution architect, Business
Analysts, Technical Leads, Scrum Masters, Developers and Quality Analysts
• External (Depending on Client Project assigned)
o Client Teams (including interaction with senior client leadership) – especially Client Data
Science, Business & Technology Teams.
o Third Party Vendors –Product & Services Vendors/Partners
Desired Candidate profile
• Strong academic performance
• Must possess superior analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to structure constructs directed to solving business problems
• Desire to leverage technical competence to solve business problems in an
information rich environment
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Online Certification on popular analytics tools, is a good to have skill
• Preferred proficiency in statistics, data science algorithms and tools and
Technical Skills automation
• Functional Understanding of Digital solution, RPA, Analytics, Content
Extraction, Conversational AI Solutions (preferred)
• Lean Six Sigma would be an added advantage
• Project Management (PMP, Prince-2, Agile) would be an added advantage
• Any prior knowledge of Delivery Management and Collaboration Tools would
be an added advantage (e.g.: Asana, JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Visio, MS Office
etc.)
• Cloud experience would be an added advantage
• Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data
analysis and validation
• Capable of delivering accurate output and over time with minimal supervision

• Have the willingness to take initiative required of Decision Analytics member

Joining Bonus: Joining Bonus amount is payable at the time of joining with clawback of 18
months from the date of payout

Retention Bonus: Retention Bonus amount is payable after completion of 18 months from
DOJ with clawback of 12 months from second payout

Business Unit & Organization. First year performance bonus will be prorated

as per individual performance, company’s performance and management’s sole decision in this

backlog in any subject
* Skill Premium- Candidates with experience in (Credit Risk/Strategy, Predictive Modeling,
Insurance Analytics, Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence) will be eligible for skill premium
of 1.50L. Relevance/ Quality of experience shall be discretional to interviewer’s judgement.
