The following equipment have been supplied by Daikin on the referenced order as per details
given as above.

In accordance with the standard product warranty, which is applicable to the product, a copy
of which is attached, the period of warranty is 60 months from date of TOC date. Moreover
warranty of AHUs coils is 10 years against corrosion .

STANDARD PRODUCT WARRANTY
Daikin Air conditioning Saudi Arabia, (“Company”) warrants to contractor, purchaser and any owner
of the product (collectively “Owner”) that Company, at its option, will repair or replace or modify any
of defective parts in the event any product manufactured by Company, proves defective in material
or workmanship within the warranty period mentioned. Authorized replaced parts are warranted
for the duration of the original warranty. All shipments of such parts will be made EX warehouse.
Company’s liability to Owner under this warranty shall not exceed the lesser of the cost of correcting
defects in the products sold or the original purchase price of the products. PRODUCT STARTUP ON
DAIKIN PRODUCTS LIKE, RA SPLIT, VRV, SKYAIR, PACKAGE ACs, and ON SCREW / CENTRIFUGAL
CHILLERS/ AHUs / FCUs IS MANDATORY and must be performed by a Company authorized service
representative or as per the Company’s installation and Start up manual
EXCEPTIONS
1. Refrigerants, fluids, oils and expendable items such as filters are not covered by this warranty.
2. This warranty shall not apply to products or parts which
a) have been opened, disassembled, repaired, reinstalled from the original location or altered
by anyone other than Company or its authorized service representative; or
b) have been subjected to misuse, negligence, accidents, damage, or abnormal use or service; or
c) have been operated, installed, or startup has been provided in a manner contrary to
Company’s printed instructions; or
d) were manufactured or furnished by others and which are not an integral part of a product
manufactured by Company.
e) have been exposed to contaminates, or corrosive agents, chemicals, or minerals, from the
water supply source; or
f) have not been fully paid for by Owner
g) Equipment that is not connected according to a combination allowed by Daikin.
3. Company is not obligated to pay any labor or service costs for removing or replacing parts or any
shipping charges.
4. Products are intended to perform in standard environment conditions. Owner / Customer needs
to perform additional standard preventative maintenance and checkups if units are installed in
Aggressive environmental conditions {such as coastal areas with corrosive atmospheric
conditions}. Company is not obliged to cover damages to the equipment due to these mentioned
environmental conditions, where no preventative maintenance has been carried.
5. Unless otherwise pre-approved in writing by Daikin, Warranty shall be void with the utilization
of generators as a source of power.
6. All other terms and conditions as per the Saudi regulations:
a) Manufacturing guarantee for two years (excluding accessories)
b) Maximum repair time of 15 days from the maintenance request date (not including the time
needed to provide the necessary spare parts).
c) Providing rare spare parts within a maximum period of 14 days from the request date of the
spare parts
d) Customers shall be entitled to a temporary product or 1÷400 (equal 0.25%) of the product
value for every day of delay at the maintenance in the cases prescribed by law
e) Maintenance quality guarantee for 30 days.
f) Replying to customers` complaint, providing them with the required information, updating
them on complaint progress within 5 days, and providing them with final responses to their

complaints within a maximum period of 30 days.
g) Transporting customers’ appliances from remote areas or products which cannot be safely
transported via ordinary means of transportation within a maximum period of 7 days from
the maintenance request date.
h) First Response after notification will be 24 hours within the warranty period.

or distributor.

SOLE REMEDY
THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES THE OWNER’S SOLE REMEDY. IT IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES. THERE IS NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONTINGENT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER THE THEORY BE BREACH OF
THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT.

In case of disputes between the Owner and the Company, the matter should be referred to arbitration.
By Sole arbitrator would be agreed between both parties. The cost of arbitration shall be divided
equally by both parties. The seat of arbitration shall be Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The
language of arbitration shall be English.
