Open the RSM Calculator Excel spreadsheet (If you are reading this, this step already done)
Click File
Click Options
Click Add-Ins
In the bottom of the pane, make sure Excel Add-ins is selected in the Manage field
Click Go
Select the checkbox for Solver Add-in
Click OK
On the Excel ribbon, click the View tab
In the Macro section, click Macro, and then View Macros
In the Macro name field, type SolverMain and click Run
Do not change Solver Parameters, just click Solve

(After running Solver, re-run Solver only if you change any values in the yellow input cells)

Symetrical masts arrangements and heights are always the case when the mast heights
of all 4 masts are the same and the masts are arranged in a square or rectangle, or
as shown in the graphic, where masts heights are not all the same and a square or
rectangular arrangement is not the case, but there is symmetry. Symmetry is necessary for
the Sphere to sit on all 4 masts at-the-same-time.

On the PLAN View of design drawings:

1. Roll the sphere against the catenary.


2. Draw line L1 between the masts.
3. Draw L2 perpendicular to L1 at the tangent
point of the sphere and the catenary.
4. The intersection of L1 and L2 is the origin
of the coordinate system.
5. Locate the RED and BLUE objects relative
to the origin with D,E,A, and B, which are
always positive numbers along L2 or L1
