This business will operate under the name Weston café and will be situated in Lunda estate. It

operate as a sole proprietor Hokens Munene Ireri as the proprietor. The proposed business

address will be P.O BOX 999-01000 Thika and will use the owner phone number 0742819106

for communication.it will commence over on 1st may 2022.The main activity will be selling of

chips and distributing to various customers and offices.

Marketing Plan

According to the research done on location for the setting up a business. The business potential

customers will include the dwellers of Lunda estate because young people live there and many

institutions like colleges and universities are located nearby and also the business people around

there. The business is going to face two competitors in the area but according to the standards

set, the Weston café is going to target more customers by enhancing better services to customers.

The business require a capital of Ksh 250,000.The capital will be raised from friends and family

members.

The business will be operated by Hokes Munene Ireri who is currently in Internship at TMD

ISUZU Company. The business will commence its operations on 1st may 2022 and it will be

possible because the owner will have accumulated enough capital, will have acquired enough

entrepreneurship skills and also will have discovered unemployment in Kenya hence creating

employment opportunities.

Business Involvement

The business will be involved in selling of chips. This will be done purposely to satisfy

customers and win them from the existing competitors hence maximizing profits and allowing

expansion of the business in the future.

The business will operate under the name Weston café.at the startup stage it shall be only be one

branch but more branches will be opened after a year of opening the business because there will
be availability of capital from the existing business. Increased demand for chips and high rate of

food industry which rely on potatoes.

The Weston café will consider the following to ensure effective customer relation.

a) Never overlook or underestimate the importance of effective customers.

b) Always be positive and enthusiastic.
