GEOTECHNICAL PILE CAPACITY (TENSILE PILE):

Ultimate Pile Resistance is determined by the sum skin friction and base resistance of Pile, according formula:
RT,u = c .u.∑ cf . fi.Li = 75.23 T
In there Symbol Value Explain
c = 0.80 The coefficient of working conditions of the pile in the soil
cq = 1.00 The coefficients of working conditions of the soil under the nose
qb = 0.00 The resistance strength of the soil below the tip of the pile
Ab = 0.28 The area of the pile against the ground
u = 1.88 The circumference of the cross section of the pile body
cf = 1.00 The coefficients of working conditions on the pile body taking
fi - The average resistance intensity of the "i" soil layer on the pile body
li - The length of the pile segment in the "i" soil layer

→ Allowable resistance γ0.Rc,u 86.5

Nc,u = 154.19 > = = 56.18 T => Not OK
γn.γk 1.54

In there: γ0 = 1.15 Working conditions coefficient, including the degree of uniformity

γn = 1.1 Construction level coefficient
γk = 1.4 Reliability coefficient

2.8. Conclusion
The piles of the berthing + mooring dolphin do not have enough bearing capacity
 It is necessary to add piles or increase the pile diameter for the berthing + mooring
dolphin or the operating load on the berthing + mooring dolphin must not exceed
2T/m2.
