RULES
Remove the electric wire from the victim.
Lay victim on his back and tilt head back to clear airways. Find
out if the victim is breathing.
Hold victim’s head still and push jaws open. Close the nostril
by pinching

Bruises Apply cloth pad soaked in cold

cover with another.
Treat for shock if necessary.

Cuts (minor) Wash with soap and clean water.
Dab with disinfect.
Allow to dry cover with a clean
dressing.
Dislocation Distortion around joint Avoid movement of patient.
Treat for shock.
Make patient comfortable by
supporting the joint.
Call a doctor.
Electric Shock Muscular paralysis Dry your hand if wet.
Disconnect electricity by switching
off or pulleying out of plug. If thus is
impossible stand on a rubber mat
and use a piece of dry timber to
push the victim clear from source.

Breathing has stopped
until a doctor arrives.

Eye injuries DO NOT RUB
If injury is from a foreign, body,
allow natural watering of eye to
wash it away.
If this fails to remove the object,
and it can be seen, pull down
lower lid and remove foreign body
with the corner of a clean, damp
handkerchief.
Wash eye with tepid or cold water
If injury is serious, call a doctor
