Birthday Party

Dear Emma,

How was your weekend? Last Saturday was my little sister, Debra's birthday. My
mother decided to plan a party and she asked me to help her. I made and sent invitation
cards while my mother baked a chocolate cake. After that, she went out with my father
to buy some balloons. I also invited Johan, Adam and Kesshni to the birthday party but
Linda could not come.

When everyone arrived, I asked Debra to open the door and she was surprised!
Everyone was holding big presents and said, "Happy Birthday!" She was so excited of
the presents. She got a bicycle, a bag and a book but the bag was her favourite.

We bought some food for the guests like pizza, jelly and fried chicken. My mother
cooked some fried rice. All of them loved it. At 8 p.m., my sister cut the cake and we
sang a few songs. After that, we played scrabble and chess until 10 p.m. Finally, the
party ended at 11 p.m. and the guests went home. My sister had a wonderful birthday
party!

finally became good friends.
