Relatively young group’s, especially the ship building division has become one of the
leading players in Turkey and as well as in Europe. Tersan’s sustained success that is
achieved by its experienced human resources, modern facilities, customer support and 70.000sqm Closed 9m Docking Draught
reliability guided the company to gain unique and challenging big orders. 350.000sqm Total Area 20m Depth and 1500m Length at Repair Beths
The enthusiasm and marine culture that Tersan’s founders shared, encouraged the
group to be more present in Turkey’s maritime industry. As the first step in order to
accomplish this target, the group acquired a shipyard area with a floating dock in

Group into the new ship building sector very soon.

While the repair yard remained in Tuzla, Istanbul, is still active, Tersan’s ship building
division moved to Yalova in 2008. In 2013, with starting operation of new floating
dock in Yalova, also repair activites has begun. In 2019, Tersan started the operation SWL 550 Tons

building & repair yard in Yalova is today, one of the biggest, most modern and
efficiently organized shipyards in Europe. Repair and docking of around 150 ships
are successfully carried out annually in the Tersan Shipyard. Total number of workforce

Heaters, Boilers, Pv Valves-Safety Valves, Various Type of
Propulsion Systems as CPP, FPP, Azimuth etc. Also capable of

Relief-Formula 62, etc.

The pipe workshop has 1.500 sqm closed area with a capacity up to
2.000 dia / day fabrication of steel, stainless and copper pipes for cargo,
ballast, heating and hydraulic systems.

The workshop is capable of cold bending and high quality pipe fabrication
with dedicated workers. Stainless steel and mild steel pipe works are
manufactured.

The piping workshop has also good references on GRE / GRVE pipes
manufacturing and installation.

Tersan Shipyard started using and gaining experience in the scrubber
system for many years.
This system has begun to be utilised worldwide in 2019 and 2020.
However, the first scrubber system installation in Turkey was accomplis-
hed by Tersan Shipyard in 2016.
Scrubber system installations carry on in our yard by means of our expert teams.
Tersan has sufficient experienced in GRE/GRVE pipes pre-frabrication & installations
and also has a dedicated closed workshop for required preparations. As of third
quarter of 2021, 8 pieces scrubber unit have been installed successfully. Enlarging
the list with signed fresh agreements for the upcoming period.
