NINE EVENTS OF INSTRUCTION - ACCORDING TO GAGNE LEARNING IS


A STEP BY STEP PROCESS. EACH STEP MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED
BEFORE THE NEXT ORDER FOR LEARNING TO TAKE PLACE.

1.THEFIRST IS GAINING ATTENTION-----(WHEN TEACHING).. OF


COURSE ..FIRST WE NEED TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE
STUDENTS. SO WHEN AT FIRST THE STUDENT'S ATTENTION IS NO
LONGER. THAT IS DIFFICULT TO GET BACK, AND WHEN THEY DON'T
PAY ATTENTION TO YOU OR WHAT YOU TEACH, IT'S LIKE THEY
CAN'T ABSORB THE IDEA… OUHM or WHAT HAVE YOU'VE BEEN
TEACHING IS JUST NONSENSE.

2. NEXT IS INFORMING THE LEARNER OF THE OBJECTIVE --- THE


STUDENTS NEED TO KNOW THE TOPIC YOU ARE GOING TO DISCUSS,
BECAUSE SOMETIMES DOON PA LANG AY NAKAKABULID NA NG
INTEREST OR ATTENTION TO THE TOPIC YOU WILL TEACH.

3. NEXT STAGE IS STMULATING RECALL OR PRIOR KNOWLEDGE ---


IT'S JUST LIKE BACK LESSONS. YOU WILL ASK WHAT WAS LEARNED
LAST TIME, WHAT WAS DISCUSSED... HERE.. YOU CAN MEASURE IF
SOMETHING YOU TAUGHT HAS BEEN RETAINED.

4. THE NEXT STAGE IS PRESENTING INFORMATION-- SO YOU SHOULD


BE DISCUSSING THE LESSON. IT'S NOT JUST WRITE ON THAT BOARD
THEN OKAY NA.. YOU MUST ALSO MAKE AN EFFORT TO MAKE THE
STUDENTS LIKE TO LEARN AND LISTEN MORE ON YOU.
5. No.5 PROVIDING GUIDANCE --- NEED NG GUIDANCE ESPECIALLY
FOR STUDENTS'QUESTIONS, THEY ARE USUALLY SHY. BUT THE
CHANCE SHOULD BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE STUDENTS HAVE
QUESTIONS.

6. No. 6 IS ELICITING PERFORMANCE --- CHILDREN NEED


PERFORMANCE GAYA SA PINAG ARALAN LAST TIME.. STUDENTS LEARN
BETTER WHEN THEY EXPERIENCE SOMETHING THEMSELVES. KNOWLEDGE
IS RETAINED BETTER THAN THEM

7.NO.7 PROVIDING FEEDBACK ---AFTER CHILDREN PERFORM THEY


NEED FEEDBACK FROM THE TEACHER. EVEN ME I ALSO NEED
FEEDBACK IF WHAT I'M DOING IS OK OR WHAT I'M SAYING IS
WRONG… FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT BOOSTS
CONFIDENCE

8.No. 8 IS ASSESSING PERFORMANCE --- IT'S ALSO LIKE


FEEDBACK. SEE IF THE CHILDREN ARE DOING RIGHT. THEN WHEN
THEY NEED WORDS OF AFFIRMATION BECAUSE OF THAT IT IS MORE
HELPFUL FOR THEM TO DO THEIR BEST IN THE NEXT PERFORMANCE
OR ACTIVITY AND IF THEY ARE DOING WRONG,YOU JUST NEED TO
SAY THE CORRECT INFORMATION ABOUT THEM IN A GOOD WAY.

9. LAST STAGE IS ENHANCING RETENTION AND TRANSFER --- THIS


IS WHERE WHAT IS CALLED GENERALIZATION COMES IN --- THIS IS
WHERE THE TEACHER SHARES THE CORRECT KNOWLEDGE, THE
ACCURATE DEFINITION, THE ACCURATE TERMS AND THE ACCURATE
INFORMATION. TEACHER'S ROLE TO INCLUDE ALL IDEAS FOR ALL
GOODS

These nine events are intended to guide the design of


effective learning experiences, whether in a traditional
classroom setting, online courses, or any other form of
instruction. They are aimed at enhancing retention and
transfer of knowledge and skills while keeping learners
