Course description Introduction to systems administration; configuration and administration of
disk file systems; domain and workgroup concepts; user accounts; backing
up and restoring files; auditing resources and events; network administration
overview; TCP/IP; network layer and routing; router configuration
Course objective At the end of this course students should be able to:
 Manage a network
 Create and manage users and groups;
 Configure switches and routers;
 Manage disks and files;
 Backup and restore system and user data
 • Remotely administer a network
