Work Plan for Lightning Rod Installation

1. Location Identification
 Determine a strategic location for lightning rod installation, considering the height of the building,
structure, and protection requirements.
 Ensure no other tall objects compete with the lightning rod's height.
2. Radius of Protection Measurement
 Calculate the required protection radius based on the Elektorada specifications (lightning rod) KURN
R60 80 (80m Radius).
3. Material and Tool Preparation
 Ensure all necessary materials are available, including Elektorada, Grounding Cable, Copper Rod,
Joint CUCU/CuAL, Busbar, and accessories.
 Prepare tools such as pliers, soldering kit, distance measurer, and height measurement tools.
4. Grounding Position Selection
 Determine the appropriate location for grounding installation. Ensure grounding provides good
electrical conductivity.
5. Elektorada Installation
 Install Elektorada in the predetermined position, ensuring it is securely installed and following the
manufacturer's guidelines.
 Ensure the Elektorada has sufficient height to cover the desired protection radius.
6. Grounding Cable Installation
 Install the Grounding Cable with a strong connection to Elektorada and grounding. Ensure the cable
is free of physical damage and wellprotected.
7. Copper Rod Installation
 Install the Copper Rod according to the specifications of 3/4 Copper Rod Full CU. Ensure the depth
of planting is adequate to reach conductive soil.
8. Joint CUCU/ CuAL and Busbar Installation
 Solder or connect the joint CUCU/CuAL carefully, ensuring there is no high resistance in the
connection.
 Busbar installation should be done carefully, ensuring good contact.
9. System Testing
 Conduct testing to ensure all components function properly.
 Measure grounding resistance to ensure optimal performance.
10. Documentation
 Create comprehensive documentation of the installation, including configuration drawings and
measurements.
 Record warranty information and required maintenance.

Installation Requirements

1. All workers must have sufficient knowledge and skills in lightning rod installation.
2. Ensure all workers comply with safety standards.
3. Follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines for each component used.
4. Use personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, and safety shoes.
5. Ensure all materials used meet quality standards and required specifications.
6. Be mindful of the surrounding environment during installation to ensure no accident risks.
7. Ensure power outage if necessary for safety during installation.
