Ysgol Llechryd
Bu 2011 yn flwyddyn brysur yn Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Llechryd. Dechreuwyd gyda sioe Tynnu`r Plwg ar y Plygain a pherfformwyd gyda`r cychwyniad y calendr gan Julius Caesar, y traddodiadau o hela calennig a`r Fari Lwyd. Dangoswyd y pwysigrwydd o fynd o ddrws i drws. Roedd dydd Calan yn ddydd o roi rhoddion a chario hen benglog ceffyl gyda lliain wen a chanu.

The children took part in a RSPB survey by keeping a record of the birds on the school grounds with Dr Wendy James.

The school worked closely with the new community project Cymdeithas y Twrch Trwyth to inspire events in the village. After a fascinating evening of storytelling by Michael Harvey, various events were carried out including an evening of pig racing, a procession and a performance of Ogi Ogi Mabinogi. The community have also set themselves tasks to carry out to improve the village.

Yn dilyn ymweliad i Landysul ar gyfer diwrnod Ysgol Iach, gweithiodd y Cyngor Ysgol a`r Cyngor Eco gyda`i gilydd i godi arian i Ddolen Cymru. Daeth Mrs Trish Ford i siarad yn ein bore coffi masnach deg gydar gymuned.

The school collected unwanted clothing and textiles from the community to be recycled by Bags 2 School. The items were transported to Poland and other European countries that require help.
