Registration will be entertained only if the student produces No dues from the Hostel Office and Institute fee receipt. Registration in absentia will not be entertained. (ii) is applicable to all scholarship holders also. They are not exempted in any manner. Registration will not be entertained otherwise. The above table (s) does not include Hostel fees. They have to be paid separately to the Hostel office. The minimum attendance requirement in each course is 75% for UG Students and 80% for PG Students. If the student does not fulfill this minimum attendance requirement, he will not be permitted to write the end-semester examinations. This will ultimately result in loss of one year for the student. Therefore, every student is advised to attend all the classes from the first day to the last day of the semester. LATE REGISTRATION: The late registration is discouraged totally. If a candidate does not

register on the dates mentioned above, he will be charged a fine of Rs.500/- per day counting from 19.07.2010 and this will be allowed up to 26.07.2010 only. If the student fails to register even on 26.07.2010 his admission will be cancelled and he will be considered for Readmission by paying all the admission fees. After 26.7.2010 students should approach Dean (Academic)/ Academic Section, in this matter. 6) Ph.D. SCHOLARS All the Ph.D. Scholars (both full time and part-time) must register for their programme on the dates mentioned above. At the time of registration, they must: (i) (ii) be present physically clear all the dues (both Institute fees and hostel dues) submit a progress report (1 to 2 pages) on the work performed up to that date and plan for future work. The report must be signed by the student and proceed through DSC if the scholar does not perform the registration, his admission will be cancelled and he may be considered for readmission, paying all the admission fees.
