The following requirements must be met: Age: Miss Teen (16-18 years of age) Miss Junior Teen (13-15 years of age) Categories: Casual Wear (for introduction) Evening Gown On-Stage Question Rehearsal: February 4, 2012, 5:00 p.m. We will go over all rules and procedures at this time. Rehearsal is closed (no parents, no friends, no boyfriends can remain in school during rehearsal). Contestants are not allowed to leave the school once arriving for rehearsal. Pageant: The above rule applies to Pageant as well. Security officers will be provided night of pageant for the safety of all contestants. No parents, no friends, no boyfriends are allowed in the dressing room where the contestants will be prior to, during or after pageant. There will be volunteers to help the contestants with anything they may need. This is for the safety of all contestants and failure to abide by this rule will automatically disqualify contestant, and contestant will forfeit entry fee. Tickets: Tickets will be on sale at rehearsal ($5.00 each). You may pay cash or check. This is a good time for family and friends to purchase tickets to avoid waiting in line on pageant night. Photography: Photos will be made available for purchase by the Pageant Photographer. No other photos or video cameras are allowed until after all official photos have been taken at the end of pageant. Peoples Choice Award: $1.00 per vote by the people (cash or check). ALL PROCEEDS will go to the Miss Tipton County Scholarship Pageant Fund. Each contestant should decorate a small upright tissue box (leave top opening as is). You may decorate to your taste; name and photo MUST be visible and legible on one side. The winners in each age division will receive a gift (no money); photo will appear in local newspaper, next years Teen Pageant program, Miss Tipton County Pageant program book. Additional Requirements: All applicants must be a resident of Tipton County, U. S. Citizen, never been married (or marriage annulled), not co-habitating, never had a baby, never been arrested, 13-18 years old. The new Miss Teen and Miss Junior Teen will be required to make several appearances during her reign. These will be pre-approved by Director of Miss Tipton County Scholarship Pageant Board of Directors. All appearances will be reported in writing to the Director stating where the appearance was held and the duties. You must stay in close contact with the Director throughout your reign. Remember you are representing Tipton County and the Miss Tipton County Scholarship Pageant.
