A LUCID DREAM

Picture Perception Test

General rules

-Each team must consist of two participants of classes 9-12.

-Participants must prepare a piece of writing based on a picture shown and


present the same.

-They must do so within the stipulated time.

-The teams will be penalized for use of inappropriate language in the content
or inappropriate gesturing during the presentation.

-They will be awarded for use of jargons apt to the theme/topic and
appropriate choice of words.

Time duration:

1 minute for analysis

8 minutes for writing

4 minutes for presentation

Judgement criteria:

Relevance to the theme 5


Creative thinking 10
(Distinctiveness; Choice of words)
Incorporation of all elements of the picture 5
Components of the story 10
(Plot and setting; Characters; Climax;Ending;Dialogues)
Presentation 20
(Expression/Narration; Clarity of speech; Captivation; Co-
operation; Time Management)

~Marks will be awarded on the above mentioned criteria.

~Teams will be penalized with deduction of marks for crossing the time
limitation.

~The theme will be announced prior to the competition.
