ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN MATHEMATICS

August - December

Introduction

Next to English, math continues to be the subject that people are most afraid of. This is true despite
the numerous efforts made by our math educators, but it should not discourage math teachers from making
efforts to help students become friends with and comfortable with math. This presents a significant challenge
for us math teachers, so much thought has gone into how complex processes can be made simpler to
accommodate the students' abilities. Always and appropriately, what the students can absorb through the use
of engaging activities should be taken into account.

. I. Student Development

1. Project Ideals

Grade 7 : Math Buddy Program

This program began in 2019 before the epidemic. With the assistance of their peers acting as
"buddies," it was put into place to aid the students' understanding of four operations. The numeracy levels of
the students were reviewed and evaluated using teacher-made booklets. The math teacher will provide a
Numeracy test each week to gauge their level of proficiency.

2. Math Department has organized the following:

.Math Club Officers

Pres: Steffany Dacara
V-Pres: Faith Simbolante
Secretary: Mary June Getuaban
Treasurer: Zhian Quijano
Auditor: Mekylie Gadian
P.I.O. : Surv Chosen Martirez

Remediation/Intervention (Grade 7 – 10)

Leaners who were non-numerates underwent remediation that was centered on the mastery of rules
in various integer operations and fundamental arithmetic after the installation and consolidation of E-RUNT
results. To aid in the remediation, flash cards, window cards, and worksheets created by the teacher were
made available. Math teachers will schedule to give another assessment to measure the level of numeracy of
the learners.
