Narrative:
On the evening of October 27, 2024, at approximately 7:45 PM, Kenneth Bwakangshet was
walking along Arsonal Street in Koronadal City when he was suddenly approached by the
suspect, identified as Leonardo Villorente. According to initial witness accounts, without
provocation, Villorente produced a knife and stabbed Bwakangshet twice in the upper body.
The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Passersby who witnessed the incident immediately called emergency services. The victim,
Kenneth Bwakangshet, was rushed to Koronadal City General Hospital by responding
rescue personnel. Medical staff reported that the victim sustained two serious stab wounds
but is currently stable and undergoing further treatment.
A team of police officers was dispatched to the scene to secure the area and gather
evidence. Statements from witnesses are being taken, and efforts are underway to locate
and apprehend the suspect, Leonardo Villorente. A motive for the attack has not yet been
determined.
Action Taken:
- Secured the crime scene for evidence collection.
- Coordinated with the hospital for the victim’s medical status.
- Obtained initial witness statements.
- Launched a city-wide search for the suspect.
Recommendation:
Further investigation to determine the motive and whereabouts of the suspect. Request for
additional patrols in the vicinity of Arsonal Street.
