2. On April 25, 2023, at around 5:30 PM, San Francisco MPS received a call from Mr. Junrex M. Baja, 27
years old, Filipino, single and a resident of Bgry 3, San Francisco Agusan Del Sur, that there was a
stabbing incident transpired in front of Highway Bar Purok 2, Barangay 3, San Francisco Agusan del Sur.

3. Initial investigation conducted by the elements of this station led by PMAJ Lyka M. Luarez, IOC,
responded the incident. The victim was identified as Jeckson M. Baja, 25 years old, male, single, jobless
and a resident of Barangay 3, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.

4. Investigation conducted and revealed that at around 1:00pm in the same date, Jeckson M. Baja
celebrated his birthday together with his friends in the Highway Bar. Due to drunkenness, the victim and
suspect were having a conflict and had a fist fight with each other. After the fight, the suspect went out
from the bar. Two hours later, the victim also made his way out from the bar to go home. Then the
suspect came up behind the victim and stabbed him five (5) times in the right portion of his stomach.

5. After the incident, the suspect has instantly fled, but due to the immediate response of the police
with the help of concerned citizen, at around 6:00 pm the suspect was arrested outside of their house at
Barangay 3, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. The suspect was identified as Mark R. Elangga with the
weapon used in the commission of the crime.
6. Arrested suspect together with the recovered weapon: 7 inches carving knife after being apprised of
his constitutional rights provided by law. He is now at the custody of San Francisco MPS for proper
disposition.
