2. WHAT: Homicide

3. WHEN: On January 24, 2023 at about 2:30 in the afternoon.

4. WHERE: Purok 2 Brgy. Poblacion Siocon Zamboanga Del Norte

5. WHO Amested Suspects: 5.7, Reython Bucana ,Male , 22 years old, 2nd year student of JRMSU
SIOCON, resident at San Roque ,Sirawai , Zamboanga Del Norte.

Victim: 5.4, Salvado B.r Apatan lll 25 years old, 2nd year studen of JRMSU SIOCON, resident purok
2,Barangay Poblacion, Siocon ,ZDN.

6. HOW: The initial investigation revealed the victim, Salvador B. Apatan III was killed by the suspect
who is Reython Bucana. The suspected criminal used his force and his knife to kill the

innocent Salvador Apatan III.

7. DISPOSITION: The team of PNP personnel of this office filed a Homicide case against the suspect and
are now detained at Siocon jail.

III. FACTS OF THE CASE

In a relation to a case of homicide on or about 2:30 p.m in the afternoon on January 23,
2023 at Barangay Poblacion, Siocon ,Zamboanga Del Norte involving victim Salvador B. Apatan, male,
single, 25 years old and a Criminology student of Siocon Jose Rizal Memorial State University, residing at
Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte ; and suspect Reython Bucana, 21 years old,
college student and presently residing at Kayatian, Siocon Zamboanga Del Norte.

On February 19 2023 result of the Finger print examination conducted by the PNP Crime
Laboratory office, yielded positive results for homicide.

On April 09, 2023 a criminal complaint for homicide case under Article 246 shall kill another,
shall be guilty of murder and shall be punished by reclusion perpetua, to death if committed. Refered
against for inquest proceeding at the office of Siocon Zamboanga Del Norte. Said suspect were
temporarily detained at the costudial facility of Siocon Police Station while waiting for the release of the
inquest Resolution.
