School, Galas Patubig Road, Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan

II. Brief Facts of the Case

1. On or about 10:50 in the morning of May 22, 2022, this station received a
phone call informing that there was a dead body found in front of Gat.
Francisco Balagtas High School located in Galas Patubig Road, Santol,
Balagtas, Bulacan. Personnel of Balagtas Municipal Police station, led by
SPO1 Sederiosa, immediately responded at the crime scene.

2. The victim was then identified as John Angelo A. Azuela, 21 years old,
single, newly hired security personnel in the said school and a resident of Blk
10 Lot 22 Northville 6A, Pulong Gubat, Balagtas, Bulacan perpetrated by
Remzie G. Alejandro, 20 years old, single, former security guard in the said
school and a resident of Blk 13 Lot 6 Balagtas Heights, Santol Balagtas
Bulacan.

3. Initial investigation disclosed that the act was committed with evident
premeditation. The victim received a text message at 8:35 AM from the
suspect pretending that he needs to get his other personal belongings that
day in the above-mentioned location. The suspect, under the influence of
alcohol, came with a bottle of beer. A 9mm pistol was pulled out to shoot the
victim, hitting the nape and the right portion of the victim’s body.

4. Upon the succeeding investigation, the suspect admitted having killed the
victim because of indignation and vengeance as he was fired by the school
from the position without knowing any valid reason or problem from his
security service.

III. Status of the Case

5. The suspect was arrested by the arresting officer.
