SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN RESOLUTION NO. 08 s. 2024
“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN (KK)
RESOLUTION NO. 02 S. 2024, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSOLIDATED PROGRAMS,
PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES SUGGESTED BY THE KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY
MANGALCAL, CARMEN, DAVAO DEL NORTE FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH
DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CBYDP) FOR THE C.Y. 2025-2027.”
WHEREAS, Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) of the implementing rules and
regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
Act 2015 provides that “In consultation and with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng
Kabataan, and within three (3) months from the assumption office, formulate three (3)
years rolling plan, which shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Investment Program”;
WHEREAS, Article 2, section 12 of the 1987 Constitution provides that “the state
recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and shall protect their physical,
moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being public and civic affairs”;
WHEREAS, the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Mangalcal,
Carmen, Province of Davao del Norte in consultation with the different stakeholders,
Non-Government Organization, government agencies and the residents of the said
barangay identify, prioritize and endorse the different programs, projects, and activities
for inclusion in the SK Mangalcal Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan
(CBYDP) CY 2025-2027;
WHEREAS, the programs, projects, and activities included in the Comprehensive
Barangay Youth Development Plan of Barangay Mangalcal are the most important
aspects to be improved in the youth sector of the barangay. The SK council find it
imperative on the approval of this said resolution;
WHEREAS, NOW, THEREFORE, upon motion of Hon. John Jakusalem and
unanimously seconded by all the Sangguniang Kabataan members present.
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CBYDP) FOR THE C.Y. 2025-2027
OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY MANGALCAL, CARMEN, DAVAO DEL NORTE.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Sangguniang
Bayan office, Office of the Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO), Municipal
Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), and Municipal Budget Office (MBO),
of this municipality for their information and approval.
