There are several key concepts that were brought to my mind when researching the possibility of a conspiracy surrounding

the assassination of former president, John F. Kennedy. My first source basically challenged the idea that the shooter could have been Oswald by giving background information on Oswald and his early life. Also worth noting Oswald was a conspiracy theorist himself. Another strange event was brought to light about the day of Oswalds death at the hands of Mr. Jack Ruby, which would lead one to muse over the thought of a conspiracy. Next a different source clearly stated that Oswald had ties to Cuba and the Soviet Union and that he was clearly the assassin but it was unclear why he would have killed the president. Also the second source claimed that there was indeed discrepancies regarding how many individual wounds the president had sustained from the gunman. Also several eyewitnesss claim that there was in fact no interval between shots and yet other eyewitnesss claim there was indeed a few seconds between the first and second shot and in fact an even longer interval between the second and third shot. Next comes an eyewitness account from the fourth car back from JFK, he claimed to hear a loud firecracker noise and then two other loud reports. However Jack Bell claimed that there was no activity coming from the Texas School Depository buildings fifth or sixth floor. Even though the top was down on the convertible the shatter proof glass windows were not rolled up which could have provided the president with a little more cover. Also more discrepancy regarding the time between the three different shots, a small interval between the first and second then in rapid succession the second and third shots rang out. A new theory that I had never heard of was the American Mafias involvement in the Kennedy assassination. This argument is based on the idea that the mafia had gotten upset with John and Robert Kennedy for their attempts to destroy organized

crime in America. Also Thomas Killiam, a man who worked for Jack Ruby stated that there was in fact a link from Lee Harvey Oswald to the mafia. Shortly after telling his brother this information he was found dead in an alleyway. Another theory states that Sam Giancana had rigged the election in favor of JFK and prior to election Kennedy had reneged on his end of the bargain so Giancana wanted Kennedy dead. Last but not least is the idea that Lyndon Johnson was the man who had Kennedy assassinated. Johnson was the main beneficiary of Kennedys death, Johnson was also the main advocate of visiting Texas. Johnson even went so far as trying to have the seating arrangements changed the morning of the assassination because he and Governor Connally were great friends. Also three men who could have brought evidence to light about Johnsons involvement were found dead by carbon monoxide poisoning. When examining all of these conspiracy theories it is important to note the differences in each argument, especially when it comes to eye witness accounts. All five are great sources that have tons of information. My views very seriously changed when reading all of my sources because I had no idea about half of the conspiracies I found while researching. Lyndon Johnsons or the Mafias involvement could be the two most important, rather they make the most sense in why they would have killed the president of the United States.
