ANALYSIS:

From the result of the survey, we can barely conclude that KMPK students are eager to concern about the value of allowance. For the analysis, we actually really base on the questionnaire itself.

QUESTIONNAIRE: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. The The The The The The gender of the respondent? allowance they earn per month, is it enough? average of the allowance they spend per day? place they usually spend the allowance? items they used to buy with the allowance? balance of the allowance they keep per month?

For the survey, 73 male students and 47 female students were selected. Most of them are the students from Module 3 and picked randomly.

Next, they proceed to the second question where they were asked about the allowance that they earn per month. We know that all the matrix students basically earned RM250 per month. And exactly RM2500 to help their study in college which is about a year. What we want to know here how the allowance are used. THE GRAPH OF RESPONDENTS WHETHER THE ALLOWANCE THEY EARN PER MONTH IS ENOUGH OR NOT.

For the question number 2, the result is as above. When we asked them about the allowance they earn per month, we found that the male students which agreed with the question are almost the same as who oppose it. What we found out here is that students who choose to say that the allowance they received per month is enough because the can manage the allowance wisely. However, whose said not because they admitted that they were shopaholic person.

For the girls, 28 of them were disagreed that the allowance they received per month is enough and the rest which 19 of them positively agreed.

There are few reason that lead to the NO . Example :

The students are shoppaholic. The students cannot manage their allowance wisely. The price of groceries at KMPK are made ridiculus.

Then, to make sure the question are interconnect to the topic above we asked the respondent above the values they spend per day. This is because the values that they spend actually effected their answer for the previous question. The respondent were given four choices which are: 1. 2. 3. 4. BELOW RM5 RM5-RM10 RM10-RM15 ABOVE RM20

Most of them whether the male or female students spend about RM5 to RM15 per day. If that so, they actually spend in average RM150-RM450 per month. So, this also can be the reason why they always insufficent of allowance.

THE TABLE OF STUDENTS EXPENDITURE PER DAY AVERAGE/SEX BELOW RM5 RM5 RM10 RM10 RM15 MALE STUDENTS 6 30 29 FEMALE STUDENTS 4 21 19

ABOVE RM20 TOTAL : 47

After that, we proceed to the next question. They were asked about where they commomly spend the allowance. Sometimes the students were overused the allowance at the wrong place.

THE MALL (eg: Jaya Jusco, Ipoh Parade etc)

Many of them agreed that most of the allowance were spend at mall. This is because the allowance were used for shopping purposes. So, it leads to the lack of allowance every month. 43.7% of the respondents spend their allowance at mall, 25.83% spend more in college and the rest which is 30.47% spend their allowance at both place.

THE GRAPH LINE FOR THE PERCENTAGE OF COMMOM PLACE OF SPENDING ALLOWANCE

Students are eager to buy anything with their allowance. Based on the respondents answer, for those who spend their allowance at mall, they spend it for clothes and food. However for those who use it in college, they spend on stationeries and reference books. Beside that, there are a few students who did not spend the allowance to buy stated stuff but use it for other purposes such as bought a video games, top up, motorcycle maintainance and other accessories. And the most shocking answer from the female respondents that is some of them likely spend their allowance to improve their appearence like spend more on facial treatment, hair treatment and cosmetics.

The pyramid above show that students who spend their allowance at mall rather than at college based on the most values of the allowance agiven off. 1. Clothes and food, 2. Stationeries and reference books and 3. Others (eg: video games, cosmetic etc)

Lastly, the most of the important part for this analysis is that they were asked about the balance they keep after using the allowance per month. This indicate whether their answer for the second question is valid or not.

THE GRAPH OF THE PERCENTAGE BALANCE KEEP BY THE STUDENTS AT THE END OF MONTH

From the result above, students still able to keep their allowance at least at range below than RM50. This indicate that why they think that the allowance is not enough for them. 33.89% of them cannot manage the allowance wisely and even used all of it in a month.
