Introduction
Viewing available jobs, or applying for the job at the agency can be done for which job seekers has to go to the agency and check the available jobs at the agency. Job seekers check the list of jobs available and apply the job. Then the agency will show available jobs for the job seeker for his qualifications and then updates the jobs database.

Purpose
The purpose of designing the online job portal is to give the job seekers a platform for finding a right and a satisfactory job according to their qualification. It also connects the job seekers with the major agencies.

Scope
The scope of the online job portal includes: The Online job Portal System that is to be developed provides the members with jobs information, online applying for jobs and many other facilities. The basic scope of the project is given as under: o Job Seekers Area o Agency's Area o Administrator's panel

Objective
The objective of the application is to develop a system using which job applicants and recruiters can communicate with each other. The purpose is to enable applicants to search for jobs in a convenient manner and to enable employers to find suitable candidates. Existing System: The present system requires applicants to search through print and visual media for job opportunities. Applicants need to apply for jobs using conventional methods and appear for interview on a specified date at a specified location. Employers need to advertise the vacancies and sort all applicant details, conduct selection procedures and complete the formalities. This approach is tedious and requires much effort and resources. Proposed System: The proposed system is a web based application which allows applicants and employers to register their details. Applicants can browse through the vacancy details that are posted and can apply for the jobs online. Employers can browse through the posted resumes and select suitable candidates.

Modules:
The application comprises the following major modules: y y y Job Seeker module Employer module and

Administration module

Jobseeker Module:
This module provides functionalities for job seekers. Applicants can post their resumes with personal and professional details. They can also update the resume as frequently as required. The applicant can also browse through the present vacancies available. Job seekers can also get mail alerts when their resumes are selected by employers.

Employer Module:
This module provides functionalities related to employers. Employers can post vacancy details and update the details as and when necessary. Employers can search through applicant resumes based on different criteria.

Administration Module:
This module provides administrator related functionalities. Administrator manages entire application and maintains the profiles of applicants and employers.

DATA FLOW DIAGRAM

The DFD was first developed by Larry Constiane as a way of expressing system in a graphical form. A DFD, also known as Bubble Chart, has a purpose of clarifying system requirement and identifying major transformation that will become the programs in the system design.

DFD SYMBOLS

1. A SQUARE defines a source or destination of system data.

2. An ARROW identifies data flow or data in motion. It is a pipeline through which information flow.

3. A CIRCLE or a BUBBLE (Some people use an over bubble) represents a process transforms in coming data flow into outgoing data flow.

4. An OPEN RECTANGLE is a data store or data at rest or a temporary rest repository of data.

Note that a DFD describe what data flow (logical) rather than they are processed, so it does not depend on hardware, software and data structure or file organization.

In future this project can be treated as product according to specification and needs of any organization.

Since Jobseeker plays key role in any organization; thus, success over a long period of time and reliance of organization over recruitment is going to be one of the most considered topic for any organization. Therefore Jobs seeker Process will be of great help in carrying out recruitment process smoothly and effectively

.At present days every organization is using web technology for their proper functioning, so this web based project is all in all important from market aspects.

Furthermore if this project will be uploaded, it can be used as Jobs site and any organization can register their self on the site to carry out their recruitment process making this site as Jobs seeker.
