Ultratech Cement is engaged in the manufacture of cement and export of cement clinker. The company offers a range of cement products including ordinary portland cement, portland pozzolana cement and portland blast furnace slag cement. It also manufactures ready mix concrete. Ultratech Cement owns 11 cement plants, one white cement plant, one clinkerisation plant in the UAE, 15 grinding units of which 11 in India, two in the UAE, one in Bahrain and Bangladesh each. The company operates in India, UAE and Sri Lanka. It is headquartered in Mumbai, India, and employs around 11,509 people. The company recorded revenues of INR1,369,11.5 million (approximately $3,002.5 million) in the fiscal year ended March 2011. Its net profit was INR13,610.7 million (approximately $298.5 million) in fiscal 2011.
