Subject: Request for construction of the harvesting pits on the newly
laying roads in the Namalagundu to Mylargadda-Reg.

We are the residents of Namalagundu and Mylargadda submit following
lines for favourable orders as detailed below...
This Summer we observed huge Water Scarcity that led to Humidity due to
underground water level decrease and no greenery. People are constantly buying
water tanks from the Sewerage Dept, every year consuming of the water tankers
are increasing. This is an alarming situation to our area.
As we all know, Namalagundu to Mylargadda Cement road is laying and work
is started by removing the old structure. This is the good opportunity for us to
construct water harvesting pits and plant trees on the side of the roads to increase
ground water, as once the cement road is constructed, it cannot absorb the water
into the ground.
Therefore, we kindly request to issue necessary instructions to the
concerned officials to construct the water-harvesting pits before laying the road
and give provisions for the plantation of trees in the side of newly laying roads, so
that not only the underground water level increases, but also keeps part of out
from the global warmings and decreases the humidity.
