Pupils can:
ICT SKILLS
• Conduct data searches using digital tools.
• Find information using basic search strategies.
Set Induction (5 mins)
 Greet pupils and introduce the topic "Favourite Sports".
 Ask a few pupils to share their favourite sport.
 Briefly explain the objective of using digital tools to find information today.
Activity A: Search & Read (15 mins)
 Pupils use the internet to search for a short paragraph (1-2 paragraphs) about their
favourite sport.
 Guide them to use appropriate keywords and evaluate credible sources.
Activity B: Comprehension Task (15 mins)
ACTIVITIES  Pupils read the selected text and answer five comprehension questions based on the
content.
 Questions can focus on details such as: What is the sport about? What are the rules? Why
is it popular?
Activity C: Sharing on Google Slides (25 mins)
 Pupils type their answers and paste the paragraph they found into the Google Slides file
assigned to them.
 Each pupil is given a slide to present their findings.
 Teacher reviews and provides feedback.
