1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2002 entitled “Establishing the Program on Awards and
Incentives for Service Excellence in the Department of Education”, DepEd Order No. 78 s. of
2007 entitled “Strengthening the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence
(PRAISE) of the Department of Education”, and Division Memorandum No. 254, s. of 2022
entitled “2021 Schools Division Office of Leyte Search for Most Outstanding
Officials/Employees/Schools”, announces the contextualized 2024 PASIGARBO Search for Most
Outstanding Hindang District Officials/Employees/Schools.
2. The program aims to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency integrity, and productivity in
the public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees, schools, individually or
in groups for their innovations, superior accomplishments, and other personal efforts which
contribute to the efficiency economy or other improvement in government operations or for other
extraordinary acts or services in the interest of public service.
3. All personnel who have met the standards, criteria and guidelines set in this shall be recognized to
